Coupon Inserts and Lingo

There are only 3 types of coupon inserts that you will see.
Smart Source    (SS)
Red Plum     (RP)
Procter and Gamble  (P&G)  this insert is only once a month

Coupon Lingo
$1/1, $1/2: One dollar off one item, one dollar off two items, etc.
2/$1, 3/$2: Two items for one dollar, three items for two dollars, etc.
BOGO: Buy one item get one item free
B1G1:  The same as BOGO
B2G1: Buy two items get one item free
Beep: Registers sometimes will beep when a coupon is scanned, this can either mean the cashier is going to just probably have to manually enter it or the coupon is not legitimate for an item
Blinkies: Coupon dispensers with a blinking light located on the shelf in front of the product
Catalina: Register tape looking coupon, prints from a separate machine after your purchase
CRT: Cash register tape, usually used when referring to CVS coupons; refers to the coupon that prints from the scanner machines/at the end of your receipt
DND: Do not double
Ea.: Each
ECBs/ EB: ExtraCare Bucks, CVS loyalty rewards system
ETS: Excludes trial size
Exp.: Expires
FAR: Free after Rebate
GC: Gift card
IVC: Instant Value Coupon, Walgreens' store coupons usually found in ads & monthly booklet
MIR: Mail-in rebate
MQ:  Manufacturer Coupon
OOP: Out of pocket
OOS: Out of stock
Overage:  When an item is better than just FREE /sometimes overages can go to the rest of a purchase
P&G/PG:  Procter & Gamble coupon insert
Peelie: Peel-off coupon found on product packaging
RP:  Red Plum coupon insert
RRs: Register Rewards, Walgreens' Catalina coupons
Q: Coupon
SS:  Smart Source coupon insert
Stacking: Using both a manufacturer's coupon and a store coupon on one item
UPC: Universal product code, bar code
Tearpad: Pad of coupons attached to a display, shelf, or refrigerator door.
WAGS:  Walgreens
WYB: When you buy
